Our Story

It all started when…

In 2010, halfway through a program at The Art Institute of Philadelphia, I took off a semester to attend Atlanta Guitar Works School of Luthiery. After Atlanta, and returning to Philadelphia, I shop my new skills around town. Everyone I talked to said “Nope” no room here for you. Until Chris Dipinto at his Fishtown shop, Dipinto Guitars. I cut my teeth in Chris’s shop over the course of five years, gradually gaining customers of my own working out of my warehouse apartment in West Philadelphia. In July of 2015, I parted ways with Dipinto Guitars, bought a dilapidated home and carriage house in Germantown, a neighborhood in the North West of the city, and started my own repair business. Five years later another change was brewing and we came across “The Chapel” in Green Lane. After a year of non stop work, our new shop is ready start up again.
